URGENT: A Loving Home Needed
Are you looking for a couple of faithful companions? Our clients, Toby and Isis who are both so adorable and affectionate are looking for a new home.
Unfortunately, their owner will be relocating next month and is unable to bring them along. Both are also well trained and obedient.
Toby is a 7 year old Weimaraner (left of the picture) and soppy to the hilt. He loves nothing more than to be with people, whatever they are doing, and generally spends most of his time napping at your feet or nearby you. Even though he’s a big fellow, we call him the “gentle giant”.
Isis is a 5 year old Black Labrador who most enjoys having a ball in her mouth and expects you to play fetch with her. Kind of a goofy lady, just as most Labs are. She has a minor thyroid problem that makes her a little smelly from time to time and requires her to be on Vitamin B. Their current owner will pay for any medical costs for any family that takes good care of her.
It would be most ideal if Toby & Isis can be adopted by one family and continue to stay together. However, our top priority is to find both of them loving homes by February 1, 2009. Hence, if you live in a big compound and you’re crazy about dogs, please do get in touch with us immediately. We will arrange for you to meet them in “person”.

hello are there any puppies up for adoption other than tobey and isis?
Hi Lane,
Thank you for your message.
Animals who are placed up for adoption are usually at least a couple of years old. This is due to the fact that their “current” family may have some reason or other to give them up. On rare occasions will you get young ones.
Animals who are older actually make great companions. Most of the time, they might have already be toilet trained and house trained (meaning, they do not chew up furniture and anything in the house that they can get a hold on).
Puppies are cute which is why lots of people purchase them on impulse. But they would then need to be toilet trained and house trained (lots of families face the problem during the teething stage). And like all young ones, they will be sleeping alot and not up to “playing” just yet.
With these extra information, you might like to consider adopting a slightly older companion. You can check out our earlier article on “Pet Adoption”
(http://www.supercuddles.com/features/adoption.html) which has a few shelters listed.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Rosalind
